With underfloor heating, two-layer parquet also provides better thermal conductivity. This is because the total thickness of the two layers through which heat passes is smaller, allowing for more efficient heat transfer to the room and higher energy efficiency.
Furthermore, when two-layer and three-layer hardwood flooring have the same total thickness, the two-layer flooring typically features a thicker layer of hardwood. This allows for more sanding and restoration cycles over the years, making it a more long-term and cost-effective investment.

After new hardwood flooring from another company (I didn’t know about Fivex at the time) was installed and then ruined by the carelessness of architects and numerous contractors during a major renovation, we found ourselves in the situation of having to clean our brand-new, ruined hardwood flooring. We consulted with Fivex, and given the many different types of stains and damage, they presented a solution, and the problem is now resolved.
During the major renovation, we had over 20 contractors working on various tasks throughout the apartment.
